Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and guidelines for using DocuFast services, including our AI-powered documentation features. By using our service, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in termination of your account.

2. Prohibited Content Categories

DocuFast explicitly prohibits generating, storing, or distributing the following types of content:

  • Pornographic / NSFW content — Any sexually explicit or adult material
  • Violence / Gore — Content depicting or promoting graphic violence, injury, or physical harm
  • Hate speech — Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against any individual or group based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or other protected characteristics
  • Child Safety (CSAM) — Any content sexualizing minors or exploiting children in any way
  • Deepfake / Impersonation — AI-generated content that impersonates real individuals, creates non-consensual intimate imagery, or misleads viewers about authenticity
  • Copyright / Trademark infringement — Content that violates intellectual property rights of third parties

3. Absolute Prohibitions (Zero Tolerance)

The following violations result in immediate account termination and may be reported to authorities:

  • Child sexual exploitation content (CSAM) or any sexualization of minors
  • Terrorism or extremist content promoting violence or radicalization
  • Instructions for creating weapons of mass destruction
  • Content inciting genocide or national hatred
  • Non-consensual deepfake intimate imagery

4. AI-Specific Prohibitions

Given our AI-powered features, the following additional restrictions apply:

  • Do not use DocuFast inputs, outputs, or model responses to train, fine-tune, or benchmark competing AI or machine learning models
  • Do not mass-scrape or systematically collect AI outputs for purposes beyond your authorized use
  • Do not present AI-generated content as human-created professional advice (e.g., claiming AI output is from a licensed professional)
  • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies — you are responsible for reviewing and verifying before publication

5. Security and Network Abuse

You may NOT:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
  • Perform security scans or vulnerability assessments without authorization
  • Introduce malicious code or conduct denial-of-service attacks
  • Use the service to attack or compromise third-party systems
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limiting or usage restrictions
  • Share your API keys publicly or with unauthorized third parties

6. Content Moderation

DocuFast employs automated content moderation to detect and prevent policy violations:

  • User inputs (prompts) are scanned for policy violations before processing
  • AI-generated outputs are reviewed before delivery where feasible
  • User reports of violations trigger manual review by our trust and safety team
  • We reserve the right to refuse or remove any content that violates this policy

7. Enforcement Actions

Violations may result in the following actions:

  • Content warning — Written notice requesting content removal or modification for first minor violations
  • Content removal — Removal of content that violates this policy
  • Feature restrictions — Reduced API access or usage limits for repeated violations
  • Account suspension — Temporary suspension pending investigation for serious violations
  • Permanent termination — Permanent account closure for severe or repeated violations
  • Legal action — Reporting illegal activities to appropriate law enforcement authorities

8. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any content or behavior that violates this policy, please report it immediately:

All reports are kept strictly confidential. False or malicious reports may result in account action against the reporter.

9. Appeals Process

If you believe your content was wrongly removed or your account wrongly penalized, you may appeal by contacting appeal@docufast.com within 14 days of the action. Appeals are reviewed by team members not involved in the original decision.

10. Policy Updates

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 15 days before taking effect. Continued use of DocuFast after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
